What happens to old toy cars? Some, like this object end up in museums but what happens to the majority who don't make it into being saved for posterity? I imagined a scrap yard for old toy cars and made a collage representing such a scenario. I downloaded all the images I could find of toy Ford Sunliners and 'scrapped' them by stripping them down and categorising all their essential parts into groups- just as happens in real car scrap yards.
The resulting collage is a tribute to all the toy cars- sunliners or not- who didn't get preserved or weren't thought good enough, the ones not like this object. Why is this object here and revered while countless others are scrapped?
