First of all, the idea of Object Retrieval is great. It could be a little embarrassing before giving precise information of the object, but we could find the value of the object personally.
This Toy Car would be a common plaything for a little boy which was bought for him by his parents. However, it revealed to contain lead poisoning from the red paint. Did it matter in those times? How many parents could consider and make correct decision when they bought their kids a toy? How were their standard of living, knowledge level and environmental awareness? They just tried to make their children happy. Besides, the toy company was in a fair way to cover up the truth at that time.
If a toy company used harmful material of children’s products in these days, it could be a serious problem and big issue. A lot of parents are considering diverse factors such as functional, quality, educational and environmental-friendly of the toy.
Many thought burst out my head but the answer is simple. It is a toy car and was a good plaything for many boys in those days. In my case, as a little girl, I don’t have any chances to get a toy car but I had several dolls and toys. Some of them might include harmful chemicals, but I suffered no symptoms and enjoyed playing with them. We are living under mass-produced system. Even someone had problem through those playthings, it’s impossible to consider every aspect.
Even there was some side-effect, the Toy Car carried out its role fairly so it deserved to be treated as an Object.
